NE FLORIDA CHAPTER MEETING - JANUARY 14TH 2016
Good morning ISC2 Northeast Florida Chapter,
We hope you are getting ready to have a great holiday season and end of year!
We have planned for the first Chapter meeting of 2015 for Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 11:30am ET.
This will be special meeting in that we will spend a short time nominating and electing the Chapter Board for 2016, followed by an interesting presentation by Varonis. Also, our friends at Presidio have graciously offered their facilities for this meeting.
We are currently accepting nominations for all board positions for 2016. The positions are President, Secretary, Treasurer and Membership Chair. If you are interested in serving on the Board please email the board at firstname.lastname@example.org and a current Director will be more than happy to discuss details.
David Jenkins from Varonis will present on the following topic:
Insider Threats: Malice, Mistakes, and Mountain Lions.
As usual, we will begin check-in at 11:30am and begin shortly thereafter. A light lunch and soft drinks will be provided.
Please expect to see an Eventbrite invite coming your way using which you will be able to obtain tickets for this meeting (and yes, attendance is still free).
We will reiterate the meeting details in the Eventbrite invite but they are also provided below:
8647 Baypine Road Building 1 Suite 100, Jacksonville, FL 32256
Meeting date / time: Thursday, January 15, 2015, 11:30am ET.
Additionally, if you are interested in presenting a topic, hosting a discussion or requesting an agenda item for future Chapter meetings, don't hesitate to send those requests to the Chapter Board via this email address. We are still looking for additional volunteers for the (ISC)² NE Florida Chapter Committees (Meeting Planning, Web & Social Media, and Community Projects). The NE Florida Chapter will be what we make it, so be a part of it.
See you at the meeting!
