On behalf of ISC2 I'd like to welcome the new members of the Northeast Florida Chapter Board of Directors for 2016. Below is a short bio of our new board members. We are working hard on putting together a a great agenda and set of meetings for this year. Our next meeting will take place in sometime in April when we will be debriefing this year's RSA Conference taking place in San Francisco next week. Wayne Wingate is a retired Air Force officer. During his 26 years of active service, he led security operations for a range of organizations, ending his career as the Chief Security Officer for United States Strategic Command. He now enjoys teaching computer security and mentoring high school students as part of the CyberPatriot program. His educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree from the Air Force Academy and a Master’s Degree from Webster University. He holds the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certifications and Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certifications.
Vernon Miller is a Technical Information Security Officer for Citibank. He has been dedicated to Information Security for the past 9 years and been in the Information Technology industry for over 29 years. He has a very diverse background where he has enjoyed roles in architecture, development, database, network, and management. Vernon holds a Master of Science in Information Assurance and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He also maintains CISSP and CGEIT certifications.
Evan Christoe has over 15 years of experience in Information Technology, focusing on Information Security leadership for the past 10 years. He has been in the financial services industry for the past nine years, and he previously worked in the benefits outsourcing industry. Evan built and led the Information Security program at FSV Payment Systems, Inc. from 2006 through to FSV’s acquisition by U.S. Bank in 2012. and continues to lead the FSV legacy controls while managing their transition into U.S. Bank’s Information Security program. Evan maintains CISSP and PCI ISA certifications. Evan is also a member of Jacksonville’s InfraGard chapter.
